U-Tunes is UM’s first musical talent competition, a coproduction of the School of Communication and Frost School of Music.
This new multimedia partnership provides students in the fields of television and music engineering the opportunity to combine their talents into an exciting and entertaining project.
Judges from the Frost School of Music faculty, the South Florida music industry, The Recording Academy Grammy U Sponsored Judges, and the student-run music related companies at UM, will ensure the entertaining commentary and an exciting competition.
The show is produced by-weekly at the Weeks Recording Studio…
In addition to the new spotlight put on music talent, the winner of U-Tunes competition will receive complimentary registration for the Miami Music Festival as well as a prize package valued at over $100 provided by ‘Cane Records and other sponsors.
