Executive Board Positions

Station Manager

Serve as brand ambassador for UMTV
Coordinate coverage of campus and local news with professors, media relations, and other student outlets
Assist executive producers in execution of show goals
Monitor cross promotion and content sharing efforts
Work closely with professors, Broadcast Production Coordinator and related staff to maintain day-to-day operations of the station
Facilitate executive board meetings
Engage in strategic planning to create a vision for the station
Oversee ethics and standards of all programming
Develop measurable long-term and short-term goals for the station

Collaborate with Station Manager to assign and delegate duties related to the station
Assist executive producers in execution of show goals
Work closely with professors, Broadcast Production Manager, and related staff to maintain day-to-day operations of the station
Engage the university community to promote the station
Organize promotional events within the university

Oversee production of the show, executing a bi-weekly broadcast
Work closely with the Station Manager and the Assistant Station Manager to meet production goals
Manage talent, writers, etc.
Collaborate with Online Editor and Social Media/Promotions Coordinator to promote the show
Other duties as assigned

Oversee production of the show, executing a bi-weekly broadcast
Must be available Monday afternoon/evenings for the show
Work closely with the Station Manager and the Assistant Station Manager to meet production goals
Manage talent, writers, etc.
Collaborate with Online Editor and Social Media/Promotions Coordinator to promote the show
Other duties as assigned

Oversee production of the show, executing a daily 90 second update
Must be available most mornings to fill in as a host, producer throughout the week
Work closely with the Station Manager and the Assistant Station Manager to meet production goals
Manage talent, writers, etc.
Collaborate with Online Editor and Social Media/Promotions Coordinator to promote the show
Be innovative to increase production value
Attend mandatory production training at the beginning of semester
Other duties as assigned

Oversee production of the show, executing a weekly newscast
Must be available Thursdays, 2 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Work closely with the Station Manager and the Assignment Editor to meet production goals
Manage talent, writers, etc.
Collaborate with Online Editor and Social Media/Promotions Coordinator to promote the show
Other duties as assigned

Oversee production of the show, executing a bi-weekly show
Must be available Thursdays for the show and other days throughout the week for writers workshops and meetings
Work closely with the Station Manager and the Assistant Station Manager to meet production goals
Manage talent, writers, etc.
Collaborate with Online Editor and Social Media/Promotions Coordinator to promote the show
Other duties as assigned

Must be available Fridays, 2 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Work closely with the Station Manager and the Assistant Station Manager to meet production goals
Manage talent, writers, etc.

Other duties as assigned
