"I am from Miami, and growing up in the Coral Gables area, I often times watched UMTV. Watching the students inspired me! Now I am a reporter at WGNO in New Orleans. While I do think I would have pursued my dreams regardless of my involvement in UMTV, UMTV set me apart from others looking for their first on-air job & gave me confidence in my abilities. UMTV is a great resource for students and I hope to see it continue!"
