On this UMTV Special Presentation, we introduce you to some people and organizations in South Florida that work tirelessly for the wellbeing of their community and other people. Reporters Gracie Palmer, Harvey Duplock, Billie Brightman, Ava Kezirian, Melanie Lowe, Caleb Shapiro, and Delanie Haddad highlight powerful stories of hometown heroes who through personal sacrifice are making an extraordinary difference. From caring for the homeless and providing them with much-needed healthcare, to empowering young people, to alleviating pain and stress of hospitalized people, these remarkable individuals are working tirelessly to uplift their neighbors and transform their communities for the better.
