About CanesCast
CanesCast is UMTV’s weather show, featuring short, timely, and accurate forecasts for South Florida, plus intermittent stories about weather-related topics and climate change.
CanesCast uses industry standard forecasting software WSI MAX, which is used by professional stations across the country.
Not only does CanesCast have the necessary tools for accurate weather reporting, but many of the anchors and producers are majoring in meteorology and atmospheric sciences.
